The stacked dual tree percolators and diffused downstem generate lots of bubbles for serious filtration and comfortable rips. I’ve been steadily upgrading as I try out newer pieces, and snagging this beast for $75 on Black Friday was a deal I couldn’t pass up. It’s got everything:
Triple percolation: Downstem and two Jellyfish percs. It’s been my experience that triple percolation is the minimum for clean hitting flower.
Easy to fill: Pour water in the top and it will siphon down into the beaker. The Jellyfish percs will self-correct their own water levels once the siphon finishes.
Easy to load cough drops: The beaker port for the downstem is wide enough to drop whole cough drops down into.
Ice-catcher ice pinch: For occasions when you want extra cooling and a 4th filtration point.
Borosilicate glass: Very important as this makes it easy to clean and stain resistant, not to mention the thermal tolerance benefits.
Simple design makes it comfortable to ‘lap hit’ while leaning back in a chair.
No intricate exterior glass work, making for less chance of tip-overs causing cracks.
