So I bought this bong back in December of 2021, and it was my main piece for 10 months until it tragically broke at the stem where you put the bowl. I am heartbroken and am looking for a new piece when I realized I never reviewed this gem.
Now for the actual review, BEST EVERYDAY USE BONG EVER. For real though, I’ve dropped this piece a million times, my rug smells like straight up bong water, and this baby survived it all. I am honestly flabbergasted that it actually broke this time, because my ash catcher has broken like 5 times but this thing was fine, this time it was the opposite way. Sadness.
Due to having this bong as my main piece for a while, I did figure out a method of using it for the smoothest hits. I personally use a separate glass ash catcher with really hot water, fill both chambers of the bong with lukewarm s water, then put some whiskey cubes in the ice holder. I like the ash catcher as this is admittedly a REALLY hard bong to clean especially if it’s used every day multiple times a day. The buildup can very easily block the percolators, but that’s the price you pay for smooth hits. Thai is why I use whiskey cubes instead of ice cubes, as it forces me to dump the water while I take the cubes out cause there’s no other way than to turn it upside down.
I did at least a hot water rinse every other day to make sure my hits stayed smooth, but I am on the cleaner side of stoners than most people, so use that as you will.
Overall, if you don’t mind doing a little extra work (maybe 2-5 minutes before your sesh) to make sure the bong is clean, 10/10 recommend it.
