I purchased this zig zag bowl so I could get the bowl a little further away from my face as I use a Sneaky Pete Defender water pipe. With small water pipes, the bowl is right under your nose and the flame can get a bit close to the old Whiskers. I swing the bowl out and away from me when firing up a bowl and swing it back in for a smaller “foot print” on my table. The bowl size is absolutely perfect for one hitters…and in my opinion works best for that. Larger….multi hit bowls are a bit weird with the extended glass tubing. It takes a bit to hit the water and if you stop hitting…you leave a decent size hit sitting in the tubing waiting to get sucked through the water and out. So, Yeah this little Zig Zag Bowl really nailed it ..for what I needed.. to make my little ripper work perfectly.
